US has approved a $7.3 billion F-16 upgrade for Poland

The United States has approved a $7.3 billion F-16 upgrade for Poland. According to the agreement, 48 F-16 upgrades are planned.

According to the information obtained, important equipment such as AN/APG-83 AESA Radar, 73 Viper Shield integrated electronic warfare systems and AGM-158 JASSM missiles will be added to the inventory within the $7.3 billion F-16 package of the Polish Air Force . With this upgrade, the Polish Air Force will increase the performance of the 48 F-16 C/D Block 52 aircraft currently in its inventory.
