US Approves Sale of SM-6 Block 1 Missile to Japan

 The US State Department has announced that it has approved the sale of the SM-6 block 1, also known as RIM-174 missile system, requested by Japan.

According to the statement, the US will sell the SM-6 block 1 missile, which can be deployed on land and on warships, worth approximately $450 million to Japan.
